Otoscopes

GF sells otoscopes of various types and over a wide range of quality and price. Under the brand name of Grafco, otoscopes of simple and conventional type are sold at affordable prices. Grafco Otoscope do not come separately but are part of the set which also includes an Ophthalmoscope. Grafco supplies otoscopes under the product names of Otoscope/Ophthalmoscope set 8700, and Grafco 1226. Both products provide Otoscope as part of a set that also includes an Ophthalmoscope.
 Grafco 8700 version otoscope has two major parts: a handle, and a head. The handle is a cylindrical base which is held in the hand for controlling the movement while in use, and that’s why it is called handle. In the handle there is a compartment for storing rechargeable batteries. Two number of “AA” type batteries are provided with this set. The head is the actual Otoscope which is attached to the handle and at the front end of which are installed a magnifying lens and a light source for illumination. The set includes four numbers of disposable specula of different size. The Ophthalmoscope and otoscope have pocket clip on the side.
Grafco 1226 otoscope has basically the same structure as that of 8700. The otoscope head is chrome plated and is designed with integral and swivel lens. Three aural specula in different sizes- small, medium, and large- have been also included with the set. It is a multi-purpose otoscope and is basically an ENT otoscope,i.e., it can also be used to examine the nasal cavity and outer throat, therefore an additional nasal speculum has also been provided.
